Benchwork

The bench work is type has been called "shadow box" and "museum display".  The basic benchwork is mounted on two walls of my garage using a wall bracket approach.  The benchwork is made up in four sections (or modules).  The roof panels are removable and will make part of the sky.  The back panels are also removable and make up the backdrop for the layout.  The layout is lighted with hidden fluorescent lights.  There are doors at the lower front that will provide access to wiring and control devices.  There will be five local control panels for switching and indicators.  The electrical control will be such that a remote (dispatcher) panel may be added at a later date.

Below are progress photos and more will be added.
